Carlos Taylor is a Marketing professional and an MBA Candidate at Mount Mercy University. He is originally from Costa Rica and moved to Iowa to play collegiate level soccer. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and his puppy. Carlos brings language skills into our office, making it possible for us to provide service in Spanish & German.

Jacob Brecht grew up on a farm near Norway, Iowa, and graduated from Benton Community High School in 2022. He is now pursuing a degree in Business Administration & Economics at Coe College. Away from class and the office, Jacob enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends.

Kari has been working in his agency for over 19 years as an office manager and farm/ranch specialist. Kari enjoys spending her free time with her two kids going on walks, and attending their sons’ sporting events. Kari’s favorite part of her job is being able to protect our clients dreams, no matter where they are at in life, and where they want to go.

Tricia has been managing customer accounts at our agency for over 5 years. She is married and has three children. During the summer, she enjoys camping. Tricia primarily focuses on our commercial policies and assisting clients with their future protection.

Tanner Tjarks is sales specialist here at our agency. He joins us from Iowa City, bringing 7 years of experience from another American Family agency. Tanner is passionate about helping clients find the right coverage, and when he's not working, you can probably find him out on the golf course.
